2011 Charles Joguet Chinon ‘Clos de la Dioterie’ Cabernet Franc

Charles Joguet was one of the visionaries of Chinon in the Loire Valley. He believed that Chinon, planted with Cabernet Franc had a similar ability to convey a sense of place that Pinot Noir are Chardonnay are able to achieve in Burgundy. The wines are beautifully clean expressions of Cabernet Franc that reflect their origins and growing conditions.
