2015 Martin Muthenthaler Ried Schon Gruner Veltliner

Martin is quickly becoming one of the rock star producers of the Wachau region in Austria. He chooses to operate outside the normal classification (based on quality according to alcohol levels). This allows him the freedom to produce wines in the style he decides and focus on expression of site.

One of Martin’s top single vineyard wines, the Ried Schon is a more intense expression of Gruner Veltliner. Displaying richer fruit and fuller texture, a wine that continues to develop and unfurl in the glass.
